Web Survey Bibliography
In late 1990's some large US marketing research companies addressed questions to prof. Leslie Kish about quota samples. Basically, they were seeking some changes in the evaluation of this practice, as quota samples became very popular after his 1965 book on Survey Sampling. On one occassion prof. Kish provided a writen answer to these queries.
With explicit personal permission from prof. Kish his answers are made public. The spirit of his insight is very precious in helping us understand the inferential issues related to non-probability samples (e.g. majority of Web surveys).
