Web Survey Bibliography
It has long been an unsolved problem of online market research done by means of Access Panel sample surveys, that there has been no possibility to verify whether a participant in a survey is really the same who was requested to take part in the corresponding survey via e-mail.
A biometrical identification process developed by the University of Regensburg recognizes the user on the basis of his typing habits. It is possible to identify a person by means of the analysis of these characteristics of typing habits.
The technical viability for the authentication of test cases was verified with the help of a study, as was the acceptance and the willingness of the panelists to participate.
Ein bislang ungelöstes Problem von Online-Marktforschung mittels Access Panel gezogener Stichproben besteht darin, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt zu überprüfen, ob ein Befragungsteilnehmer wirklich derjenige ist, der per eMail aufgefordert wurde, an der entsprechenden Umfrage teilzunehmen.
Ein an der Universität Regensburg entwickeltes biometrisches Identifikations-verfahren erkennt den Benutzer anhand seines Tippverhaltens. Durch die Analyse dieser Merkmale des Tippverhaltens ist es möglich, eine Person zu identifizieren.
Mit Hilfe einer Studie wurde die technische Realisierbarkeit für die Authentizierung von Probanden ebenso überprüft, wie die Akzeptanz und Teilnahmebereitschaft der Panelisten.
