Web Survey Bibliography
Statistics Norway has offered a web alternative to paper questionnaires in all their business surveys since 2004. Now the web response rate is often as high as 70 %. To increase it above this level, however, seems difficult. The monthly price index is an example of a survey with a high but stable web response rate. In order to come up with ideas about how we can increase the number of businesses that report on web even more, a study of what kind of companies which prefer different instruments have been launched. In this presentation we will present the first results from this study and invite to a discussion about how the late majority and “laggards” could be converted from paper to web respondents.
