Web Survey Bibliography
With the rapid development of internet use transferring data collected in social and scientific fields into internet environments is become much easier. Gathering data through internet is a more efficient method than data gathering via telephone or postal service. When the participants of survey are far away, there can be restrictions while applying paper based surveys to participants. In this situation the use of web based surveys can be more useful. It can be described advantages of web surveys as a fast response rate; sending notification to users; option of putting questions in random order; ease of importing responses into data base applications. Data collected via web based surveys can be gathered in shorter time period and more systematically than paper based surveys. The aim of this study is to reveal the advantages and the limitations of web based surveys, and inform designers about web survey design.
