"SurveyMonkey" allows its users to create free online surveys. Its simple, intuitive interface has helped it to grow rapidly in popularity and it is used by a variety of organisations across the globe, from marketing firms to government offices. But teachers can use it successfully within the classroom as a multi-response tool for gathering feedback and assessment data. While "SurveyMonkey" offers a range of packages at a range of prices, what makes it really exciting is that it is possible to do all this using the free version. In this article, the author describes this free online survey tool for multi-response assessment and offers instructions on how to construct a survey. (Contains 3 figures, 1 table, 1 box, and 2 online resources.)
