Abstract By now you should have a good foundation of Internet-based market research. This session’s aim is to share many of the less obvious lessons that Harris Interactive has learned since it fielded its first web-based survey four years ago. Specifically, this session will consider the nuances surrounding web-based surveys and online research, thereby allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of this complex methodology. Be prepared to have your most complicated and controversial questions answered. The following points will be addressed based on an assessment of the audience’s needs: Sampling; Projectibility, Questionnaire design; Assessing the value of Internet-based market research solutions; Understanding where Internet-based research is best applicable.
