Title The CSP Project
Year 2012
Access date 27.06.2013
Abstract

The acronym "CSP" stands for "Client Side Paradata". These data describe how people fill in web forms. CSP is of particular use when usability testing of online surveys is involved. When used in experimental studies, these data allow for fine grained analyses of differences in web survey performance. For an introductory text on CSP, read the paper "Describing Response Behavior in Web Surveys Using Client Side Paradata" by Heerwegh (2002). For an application of CSP, read the article "Explaining Response Latencies and Changing Answers in a Web Survey Using Client Side Paradata" which appeared in the fall issue of 2003 ofSocialScienceComputer Review.
