Abstract
Non-traditional data collection is the new way to collect data. Various fields in transportation, health, economics, energy, and beyond now use creative ways to collect data rather than traditional surveys. Current non-traditional data collection methods include, but not limited to, GPS, RFID tag, and administrative records. This session provides insights from today's data collection leaders about lessons learned and challenges they encounter.
