Abstract
- QML je opisni jezik za snovanje (anketnih) vprasalnikov.
- Temelji na SGMLju in je nadgradnja HTML 3.0, tako da lahko opisani vprasalniki vsebujejo dele kot so tabele, slike, zvok, masten tisk...
- Zaradi preprostosti in vse vecje razsirjenosti standarda SGML je QML hitro naucljiv.
- QML je podprt s programi, ki omogocajo pretvorbo vprasalnikov opisanih s QML v klasicne oblike:
- HTML format, ki je primeren za pregledovanje in popravljanje vprasalnika;
- HTML format, ki vkljucuje forme, s cimer dobimo vprasalnik, ki ga lahko postavimo na WWW,
- HTML format podprt s PERLom, kar omogoca preskoke med vprasanji,
- vprasalnik v papirnati obliki,
- vprasalnik za racunalnisko anketiranje, pripravljen za najbolj razsirjene anketarske programe, kot sta Blaise in Interv+.
- QML se je iskazal tudi v praksi, doslej pri dveh anketah:
- anketa "Javnost '96",
- anketa RIS (Raba Interneta v Sloveniji)
- Programi za pretvarjanje iz formata QML upostevajo, da je potrebno vprasalnike prilagoditi nacinu anketiranja. Tako se doloceni deli besedil (navedbe moznih odgovorov...) dodajajo v vprasalnike avtomaticno.
- QML je odgovor na slabo povezanost med procesoma snovanja in preverjanja izvedbe anketiranja.
QML zaradi testiranja se ni dostopen, zaenkrat so dostopni le primeri in rezultati.
