Abstract Electronic surveys are a fast and low-cost research option which is just beginning to be used in student affairs. Researchers considering electronic surveys should be aware of ethical issues concerning representativeness, data analysis, confidentiality, and quotations. Describes issues that are different from similar problems with mail-out surveys.
