Description

DC-AAPOR is proud to once again host a one day workshop based on the most recent special issue of Public Opinion Quarterly, published in March 2009.  This issue, edited by Mick Couper and Peter Miller, focuses on web survey issues that are currently occupying center stage among researchers. Over the last decade, the impact of web surveys has taken on increased importance for the survey industry. As more and more surveys are conducted online, questions about the reliability and generalizability of the estimates assume increasing importance. Contributing authors to the special issue of POQ and invited researchers with web survey expertise will summarize recent findings in these areas and beyond.

This workshop, which will feature the most up-to-date theory and research relevant to web survey methods, is recommended for survey

practitioners and survey methodologists.  The agenda for the workshop is attached.
