Name The Mixed Methods International Conference 2013
Organized by The University of Leeds
Where

University of Leeds, UK

From 25.06.2013
To 27.06.2013
Description

As many of you know, our focus for this year's conference was to centre our discussions around 'Discipline Diversity' in Mixed Methods Research and we have been working hard to realise this vision in practice. As a part of our work towards achieving this, we have been inspired by the sheer range of mixed methods research which is taking place globally, across an eclectic spectrum of disciplines. This, along with the scale of complexity and diversity we have observed, has led us to reflect upon the necessity to further capture and build a fuller profile of involvement and activity from the diverse community of disciplines.
To do this with meaning, inclusiveness and appreciation, we intend to take a fallow year in 2013. Considering the likelihood of the Conference being held in the USA or Australia in 2014, we shall extend the time frame for the University of Leeds Mixed Methods Conference to 2015. This will allow us to connect with a much wider community of multi-disciplinary Mixed Methods researchers internationally and facilitate engagement in an extended and collaborative way. Our goal will be to present and provide a scholarly platform for world leading inter-disciplinary mixed methods research, building on the community of expertise to create sustainable world class collaborations.
We will keep you updated with our progress and look forward to welcoming you to Leeds in 2015.
