Organized by Utrecht University and Statistics Netherlands
Where Utrecht, the Netherlands
From 30.08.2017
To 01.09.2017
Description The 28th International Workshop on Household Survey Nonresponse will take place from Wednesday 30 August - Friday 1 September, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.  Key note speaker at this year's workshop is Don Dillman, who will talk on The World-wide Challenge of Pushing Respondents to the Web in Mixed-Mode Surveys. If you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form at: https://www.1ka.si/NWregistration2017. The online registration form will ask you to insert the text of your abstract and limit it to no more than 300 words. You will also be asked if your paper should be considered for the special session. Applicants will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by the end of May.
Format Papers
Each author will submit a short paper (maximum of 5 pages) in mid-August. As this workshop is intended to provide a forum for nonresponse researchers to gather feedback and advice, each paper should conclude with a list of specific questions or points for discussion. Papers on research still in progress are highly encouraged. We also invite discussion as to the practical implications of the findings. The short papers will be disseminated to all attendees prior to the workshop so that the audience is prepared for the discussion. At the workshop, authors will have 5 minutes & 5 slides to highlight relevant aspects of the paper and motivate the discussion. A discussion of the authors questions and concerns will follow (approximately 15 minutes).
