Max Vetter studied psychology at Heidelberg University and the University of Western Ontario (Canada). He graduated from Heidelberg University in February 2012 and subsequently gained research and teaching experience at Mannheim University.

Since December 2012, Max is a research associate at CSI working in the project "The Behavioural Dimensions of Social Investment". The project is located at the interface of psychology, behavioral economics and questions of social investment. His current work focuses on research and application of choice architectures in the third sector.

Since March 2014, Max is a PhD fellow student of the German National Academic Foundation. In his dissertation, he examines the possibilities, limits and consequences of choice architectures, i.e. interventions to foster behavior change in various contexts, from a (social)psychological perspective.
