The research group for Industrial Software (INSO) deals with the study of development and maintenance of software systems in practice. Special focus goes to the issues project, process, product and people in software engineering. Major method applied is the empirical approach: investigation of engineering in industrial projects. INSO is a research group hosted by the Institute of Automation at the Faculty of Informatics.
