Jean Philippe Pierre Décieux is a PhD student and Assistant under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Helmut Willems since March 2012 at the Research Unit INSIDE.
In 2011 he completed his Master in Economics majoring in Marketing, Market Research Innovation Management and E-Business at the University of Trier in Germany. His diploma thesis examines: “Methodeneffekte in Onlineumfragen/Modeffects in Onlinesurveys”.
From June 2007 to February 2012 he worked at the Institute for Methodologies and Empirical Social Research at the University of Trier.
Since 2012 Mr. Décieux has a teaching assignment for Data Analysis in Social Research at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.
In his doctoral project he focuses on social indicators. Other research interests are Data Collection Methods (esp. Mixed Mode- and Online- and Youth Surveys), Response Biases in Surveys, Multivariate Data Analysis and Online Research.
