This paper presents findings of the Greek Candidate Survey which is part of the international project Comparative Candidate Survey (CCS). The Greek Candidate Survey was conducted for the first time in 2007 as a sequential mixed mode survey, i.e. two different data collection modes during two sequential phases. During the first phase data were collected using a self-administered web survey. This mode was chosen as the main mode of data collection because it is the least expensive. During the second phase data collection was based on personal telephone interviews. The second phase was used as a method of nonresponse reduction.
