More information:
Understanding Statistics aims to make psychologists and other behavioral scientists aware of relevant recent developments in statistics, point out current poor practice in their use of statistics, illustrate innovative uses of software, highlight software inadequacies, and generally make non-statisticians in a variety of disciplines more aware of what modern statistics has to offer them. This journal welcomes well written articles presenting non-technical accounts of the use of recently developed statistical methods in the social and behavioral sciences as well as, articles illustrating the advantages of newer statistical methodologies over those traditionally used in these disciplines. In addition, this journal publishes articles that point out examples of current bad practice in the application of statistics by researchers in the area and describes innovative uses of software. Starting in 2002.
